The Gruesome Stories We Receive but Can’t Share the Pictures Of

Every year, we come by some horrific accounts that any human being would dread to even imagine.

There was a month-old girl with an incision wound on her abdomen made deliberately with a blade. Resultantly, her intestines were out of the abdomen. It happened because a pseudo-spiritual figure had assured the child’s mother that she must do this if she wants to have a baby boy.

In another case, we had parents who had neither the means nor the time to get treatment for their daughter whose body had sustained major burns. Consequently, the wound on her leg had festered to a point where it developed parasites (Keeray par gaye, to be written in Urdu). We were barely able to save her leg and her life thanks to your contributions. Such are the cases that we receive here almost every other day! So, this Ramadan, we request our donors to come forward and help us fight for such tormented souls.
